"What I think is a bit questionable is the timing of it all. It's hard to improve something that you haven't tested just yet. This year we'll see the first wave of reports. There will be a lot of lessons learned out of that. But do we have enough to make a significant contribution or improvement to the CSRD and CSDDD? That's a big question mark. From the practitioners’ side, there's no simplification that comes out of uncertainty and confusion. I'm really dubious that reopening regulations that took years to get to the point where they are right now can be done in an effective way in a few months."
